Some journeys to parenthood need a little extra help.

For many individuals and families, an egg donor makes that journey possible. It’s an incredible act, one that can change lives in ways you may never fully see, but will always be felt.

If you’ve ever considered becoming an egg donor, know that it’s more than a process; it’s a powerful way to help someone build the family they’ve been hoping for.

As National Infertility Awareness Week comes to a close, one thing is clear: More Than doesn’t end here. 🧡

This community is more than a week.
This message is more than a moment.
This fight is more than a campaign.

It’s a commitment to how we show up for ourselves, for each other, and for this community all year long.

Because being means continuing the conversation.
It means advocating for better access and care.
It means supporting others in ways big and small.
And sometimes, it simply means giving yourself permission to exist beyond the struggle.

So as this week wraps, we invite you to carry it forward.

How will you continue living the More Than message?

Whether it’s donating, volunteering, sharing your story, supporting someone else, staying engaged with RESOLVE, or just showing yourself a little more compassion: every action matters.

We are, and always will be, .

Infertility is more common than many realize, but it can still feel incredibly isolating.

During National Infertility Awareness Week, we’re shining a light on hope, support, and the power of community. Because behind every diagnosis is a story, and every story deserves to be heard.

This year, we invited local landmarks to light up orange in support of this journey. From city skylines to neighborhood bridges, each glow represents hope, unity, and a shared commitment to breaking down barriers. Seeing our community come together in this way is both inspiring and deeply meaningful.

Today, we switch it up for visibility.

Orange represents warmth, hope, and forward movement. And today, it represents something even more powerful: being seen.

For those navigating infertility, visibility matters. It challenges assumptions. It opens conversations. It reminds people they are not alone.

So today, we in whatever way feels right to you. Bold or subtle. Loud or quiet. Every act of visibility makes a difference.

We’re keeping the light on. 🧡

Join us. Share your photo or video. Help us continue the conversation.

RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association

Today marks the start of National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW). 🧡

This year’s theme, More Than, is a reminder that infertility is about so much more than statistics. It’s about people, stories, and families in progress.

In previous years, we helped light it up orange across Minneapolis, standing together to bring visibility to something so often kept in the dark.

Because this journey is more than diagnoses.
More than timelines.
More than what others see.

It’s resilience. It’s hope. It’s a community.

And this week, we continue to raise our voices, share our stories, and push for more awareness, more access, and more support for everyone.

Representation matters in every part of family building, and egg donation is no exception.

While the proportion of Asian egg donors is similar to that of U.S. women (7.7% vs. 7.1%), Asian egg donors are underrepresented among donor egg recipients (7.7% vs. 10.6%). This gap points to a real and growing need for more Asian egg donors to meet the demand from individuals and couples hoping to build families.

In this blog, we explore why this disparity exists, the cultural and systemic barriers that may contribute, and why increasing diversity in egg donation is so important for equitable, personalized care.

If this topic resonates with you, whether personally or professionally, this is an important conversation to be part of.

April is Stress Awareness Month, and when it comes to fertility, this question comes up a lot: Does stress actually matter?

The answer is nuanced.

Stress alone doesn’t cause infertility. But it can affect the body, your hormones, and even the everyday factors that support conception. And for many, the experience of trying to conceive, or struggling to conceive, is deeply stressful in itself.

That’s why this isn’t about blame. It’s about understanding.

You didn’t cause this by being stressed. 💙

But caring for your mental health is still an important part of caring for your overall well-being and your fertility journey.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, know that you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this on your own.

Pregnancy announcements can bring joy, but they can also be deeply emotional for those facing infertility or pregnancy loss. A little awareness on social media can go a long way. Compassion, empathy, and thoughtfulness matter more than we often realize.

This Doctor’s Day, the CRM crew went all-in with a homegrown game of “Fertility Headbands” (yes, it was as fun as it sounds), dreamed up by our amazing Office and Nurse Managers.

Teams went head-to-head, laughs were nonstop, and while Team Kapfhamer took the win… let’s be real, when you have a physician team like this, we’re all winning every single day!

To top it off, our doctors were gifted personalized socks and gift baskets as a small thank you for the leadership, dedication, and heart they bring to this work.

Here’s to the ones who show up, lead with purpose, and change lives daily!
