Have you checked your pantry recently to see if you have any recalled food?
Common items such as imported spices may have lead in them. Lead poisoning may cause high blood pressure, muscle or stomach pain, headaches, or problems with memory or concentration. The best way to prevent lead poisoning from food is to check for product recalls.
Visit the FDA website to see if any food in your home has been recalled.
📱 Call 1-800-222-1222 if you have questions about lead poisoning or suspect someone has been exposed to lead. It’s free, confidential, and available 24/7.
