60+ volunteers from our AWE group joined Period Kit MN to pack 1,000 kits—bringing dignity and essential care to our community!

The Allina Women Empowered (AWE) Employee Resource Group hosted a Period Kit Packing event in mid-October with nonprofit Period Kit MN, where over 60 volunteers worked to assemble kits for distribution.

The effort produced 1,000 kits, which offer a 30-day supply of menstrual health items to community members who are experiencing poverty, homelessness or unstable housing.

Last Friday, 40 of our Talent Management Organizational Effectiveness (TMOE) team members came 'All Together' to volunteer at a Feed My Starving Children event.

They exceeded expectations and in 1.5 hours, put together 96 boxes (translating to 20,736 meals)! We are grateful for their volunteerism, and giving back to the community, in this month of All Together Better here at Allina Health! 💙
