Children deserve to be loved and protected. To not live in fear. To be able to go outside without risk of being taken.

I have been doing school watch once a week to try to help make sure kids can leave school safely. It is not enough. It is something.

Clients and my church home group have donated funds so I could pick up supplies this week to give to a local school whose families are not safe to leave their homes. It is not enough. It is something.

If you don’t know the impact this is having on our children, please look at local stories by MPR or WCCO or the Star Tribune. We cannot look away, and we must stand up for them and stand with them.

I’m heartbroken by the violent occupation of ice agents in the city that I love. Minneapolis has been my home the past 15 years, and this diverse community has helped shape me into who I am today.

I cannot state this clearly enough:

-We are less safe with ice agents here and we need them to leave.
-We love our immigrant neighbors and friends and we want them here.
-We see the humanity of every person and the beauty of diversity.
-We are not “paid protesters” but we are caring neighbors showing up for each other.
-We will continue to come together and support one another through this.

Each year I am amazed that I get to spend my days with the beautiful people who are part of the Moore Fit community. I am so grateful that you allow me to be part of your health journey.

As I enter my 15th(!!!) year in personal training, I look forward to continuing to grow right along with you all. May we all bring more light, love, and justice into the world as we enter 2026 🩷✨

Taking time today to remember Moore Fit’s favorite little buddy and forever mascot, Apollo ❤️ He always greeted clients with enthusiasm and then settled in on the couch or a blanket to rest. He made appearances in most live classes and if you didn’t see him, you’d hear him lapping up his water in the background 😂
