Our Story

Our mission is to provide an organization that people interested in Danish genealogy and family history may join no matter where they live; a place to exchange ideas and information related to genealogical research and methodology. Our network of members ranges from seasoned research veterans to individuals just getting started on their genealogical journey. We provide instruction on topics of interest to members via monthly meeting with speakers, our quarterly newsletter, resources on our website, and more. Our goal is to encourage interest in Danish ancestry and heritage, encourage research and writing of family, emigration, immigration and settlement histories, and teach about both Danish-American genealogy and general genealogy topics.
