This past weekend, movement, connection, and caring for the whole person came together at the FloDash Events AdventHealth Elevate 5K Corporate Challenge in partnership with South Lake Chamber of Commerce (FL).

From the starting line with CEO Kay Barnett and Assistant Medical Director Dr. Deacon to the pre-race warmup led by Staphany Pachon, the day was full of energy and purpose. It was especially meaningful to see so many AdventHealth team members and their families join in and support each other.

Beyond the race, our “You Good?” Wall created space for something just as important, honest conversations about mental health. By simply asking “How are you feeling?”, we’re helping break stigma and remind each other that it’s okay to pause, reflect, and reach out.

We’re grateful to walk alongside our community as we take steps toward feeling whole in body, mind, and spirit.

This April, we’re honoring Donate Life Month by coming together in a meaningful way.

Our AdventHealth Minneola team took their first Donate Life Walk along the Minneola Mile, beginning with a heartfelt prayer led by Chaplain Richard Canales. It was a moment to reflect, remember, and stand in support of those whose lives have been touched by organ donation.

At our grand opening event, we carried on a fun hospital tradition. Surgical robots often get names, so we invited the community to weigh in… drum roll please… Optimus Time and Anesticon.

Our two da Vinci 5 robots, the latest technology in South Lake County, support robotic-assisted surgery, which can mean less pain, smaller incisions, and a faster recovery, so you can get back to what matters most.

It’s one more way AdventHealth is bringing leading-edge, whole-person care closer to home, helping our neighbors feel whole in body, mind, and spirit.
