We’re kicking off 2026 with strong momentum and continuing to help businesses secure the equipment they need to grow.

From cranes and drilling rigs to advanced manufacturing systems, marine repair equipment, and specialty machinery for recreational operations, we’re proud to support companies across a wide range of industries with smart, flexible financing solutions.

Here’s a look at some of the recent investments we’ve funded

💸 $607,506
84‑month financing provided for the acquisition of a hydraulic truck crane to support expanded capacity for two newly awarded contracts. This deal enables the client to strengthen its crane, rigging, and specialized transportation capabilities while continuing to deliver high‑quality service backed by decades of industry experience.

💸 $119,565
Financing provided for a specialized grout‑dispensing and chemical‑mixing system to support critical marine and subsea repair work, including structural pylon restoration on major Gulf Coast infrastructure. This upgrade replaces aging equipment and expands the client’s capabilities in corrosion prevention, structural strengthening, and underwater civil‑works projects. The opportunity originated through a strong banking referral network.

💸 $590,000
Financing provided for advanced extrusion equipment used to produce close‑tolerance polyester roll stock for the thermoforming and laminating industries. This investment supports the client’s continued growth in high‑precision manufacturing using state‑of‑the‑art technology.

💸 $29,915
Financing provided for a wheel loader used to support operations at a motocross park, including dirt moving and jump construction, as well as additional work performed at partner facilities. This equipment enhances the client’s ability to maintain and develop high‑performance riding terrain.

💸 $200,000
Financing provided for a bore machine to support expanded directional drilling and road‑boring operations. This equipment enables the client to tackle projects ranging from residential utility installs to complex river crossings and heavily congested infrastructure work—filling the gap between jobs too small for major contractors and too technical for smaller operators.

Yesterday we were out on Lake Minnetonka with so many friends for NEFA’s Ice Fishing Event and it was one of those perfect Minnesota winter days. ☀️❄️ Bright blue skies, sunshine, and warm weather for February. Can't beat that.

It's pretty safe to say everyone had an awesome time and enjoyed a little friendly competition. And yes, we have a champion. 🏆🐟

Shoutout to KLC's John Gauger for catching the “biggest” fish of the day. That's a pretty epic perch 😆

Appreciate NEFA for putting together such a fun event. Days like this are what make being in Minnesota and in this industry pretty special.

A few KLC team members willingly jumped in a freezing Minnesota lake today for the Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics Minnesota. Way to go Brett Sorensen (and kids), Simon Malinski, and David Wolfgram.

Huge respect to the team for showing up, doing something wildly uncomfortable, and making a difference in the lives of thousands of Special Olympics athletes across the state.. 🧊❄️

🤠 This team in San Antonio for a few days was a really good idea.

Sales, marketing, and credit spent time together shaping plans for 2026. Clear direction, honest conversations, and momentum heading into the year ahead.

Then we mixed in the best part of any offsite time together. Delicious dinners, fun nights out, and a dude ranch day with our Gulf Coast Bank sister companies that felt like summer camp for grown ups in the best way. 10 out of 10. Rancho Cortez

We’re honestly just grateful. For a team that cares, works hard, laughs loud, and makes the day to day better. These are the kind of people you love to grow with.

Giddyup! 🐎📈

Today our office is closed as we honor the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

“𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁, 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲.”
- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

What a great quote to reflect on today as Dr. King’s words remind us that service is not reserved for moments in history. It is practiced daily through integrity, patience, and care for others. In our work, that means treating every partnership as a responsibility and every decision as an opportunity to support real people and real businesses. This is how trust is built and impact endures.

Today we reflect on how leading with humility, integrity, and service is what allows meaningful impact to take root and grow.

Our very own Brett Sorensen joined the Monitor Live+ podcast to discuss AI’s New Playbook for Asset Finance—and the takeaway was clear: AI is no longer experimental, it’s operational.

Brett shared how AI is already driving real value across asset finance—from accelerating underwriting and document intelligence to improving workflow efficiency and speed to the customer. His key message resonated throughout the panel: AI isn’t here to replace people—it’s here to multiply capacity, eliminate friction, and help teams focus on judgment, relationships, and growth.

As the industry shifts from proof-of-concept to production, the winners will be those who pair AI with strong data, clear governance, and real business outcomes.
