McKenzie County 4-H Celebrates Youth Achievements and a 60-Year Volunteer! 🎉

On Sunday, November 2, McKenzie County 4-H clubs gathered to honor the accomplishments of their members and recognize the dedication of volunteers.

This year was especially meaningful as Gwen Roffler was celebrated for 60 years of service as a 4-H volunteer! Gwen has touched the lives of countless youth, sharing her time, skills, and passion to help them grow and succeed.

Her dedication exemplifies why North Dakota 4-H thrives—volunteers who give their time and talents help youth develop leadership, responsibility, and lifelong skills.

Homemade Holiday Workshop

Available to 4-H Youth Ages 12 and up

Join Myra & Emily as they teach you how to make ornaments using dried fruit and grow beautiful winter flowers. Participants will take home their crafted ornament and flower arrangement to use as a fun homemade Christmas gift or to enjoy in their own home.

• County and state classes from 2023–2025 are available on the 4-H Google Drive — perfect for practice! You don’t need to wait for the 2026 county classes to begin training.

The state contest will be held in Bismarck on Wednesday, August 5, starting with registration at 8:30 AM at the Bismarck Public Schools Career Academy.
