Today brought one of those quiet, unexpected moments that stay with you.

As a local fifth-grade class walked through our building delivering handmade Christmas cards and singing carols, they noticed a resident who was sitting in his usual spot and stopped to visit with him. They talked for a bit, asked what his favorite Christmas song was, and then sang it just for him.
The joy on his face was pure and unmistakable. It was a simple, genuine connection — and it meant the world to him.
A heartfelt thank-you to Our Redeemer’s Christian School for sharing such kind, thoughtful children with our residents. This is what the Christmas spirit looks like. ❤️🎄
