KENMARE - Our final Heart Health event of the month is happening Monday at the Gooseneck Implement Kenmare location from 9:00–10:30 a.m.

Stop in for a free blood pressure check and take a few minutes to check in on your health. We’ll also have helpful information and resources available.

Jessa and Cambree have been keeping busy in the community since joining the First District Health team!

On February 11th, they hosted the Show Your Heart Some Love event at the Minot YMCA, offering free blood pressure screenings, influenza and COVID vaccines, no-cost rapid HIV and Hepatitis C testing, and additional health resources.

Watch for more opportunities to check in on your health as our team continues bringing services directly into the community!

Our county teams have been keeping the Heart Health Month momentum going with pop-up events to make screenings easier and more accessible.

Last week, Nancy and Yvonne set up at the McHenry County Courthouse, providing free blood pressure checks and sharing health resources with community members.

A new measles case was confirmed in Pembina County, bringing total cases in N.D. in 2026 to two. People can be contagious before they show symptoms. Members of the public present at Pembina Co. and Grand Forks Co. locations on these dates at these times may have been exposed.

Tami from our Mohall office attended the local Aging Adult Community Outreach event hosted by the American Legion Post 52 last week.

Visitors stopped by to learn about resources on medication safety and takeback, Cologuard, Women’s Way, CredibleMind, and much more! We always appreciate opportunities to meet community members where they are and share tools that support healthy aging.
