Our 65th anniversary Souper Saturday was a blast! We had over 200 people in attendance! 🥳

Fuelin Fast Nutrition was our 1st annual winner by 1 vote with their Chicken tortilla soup.

💙 Big things are happening at Kalix! 💙

We’re so excited to share that AgCountry Farm Credit Services has awarded Kalix a $50,000 grant through their Rural Community Grant Fund! 🙌

These funds will help us remodel our residential homes, converting rooms from double to single occupancy. Why does that matter? Because privacy, dignity, safety, and independence aren’t just words, they’re everyday rights. This project helps the people we support feel more at home, and that means everything. 🏡✨

As DSP Appreciation Week comes to a close, we can’t help but pause and reflect on what makes Kalix truly special: our Direct Support Professionals.

DSPs are the heart of our mission. They show up day after day; early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Meeting people where they are, celebrating independence, and turning everyday moments into opportunities for dignity and purpose.

The work isn’t always easy, but it is always meaningful. Whether it’s supporting someone in reaching a personal goal, creating joy in the small things, or advocating fiercely for the rights of the people we serve, our DSPs embody One Team, One Goal.
