Please be patient with yourself and understand that effective lifestyle change and establishing new habits takes time. Evidence-based medicine shows a 6 month commitment is needed to shape new behaviors. That is the nature of personal nutrition and behavioral change. Everyone is different and has different needs.

Whatever your nutritional needs and goals are, that is what your personal RD (registered dietitian) will focus on. Attention "Carb"ivores...

Try this whole foods Ezekiel bread for French toast! Dip 2 slices of bread in mixture of 1 egg and high protein dairy or plant based milk and cinnamon with pinch of vanilla. Sautee in pan. Serve with maple yogurt ( 2 tsp real maple syrup mixed in low sugar vanilla yogurt) and top with berries!

❄️ Winter storm vibes = cozy + healthy! 🥣 Warm up with soups, and nutrient-packed comfort foods. 🍠🥦 Stay nourished, stay strong, and enjoy the snow! 💪☕ Try this veggie recipe below!!

Hearty Winter Veggie Soup 🍲
Ingredients:

1 tbsp olive oil

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

3 carrots, sliced

2 celery stalks, sliced

1 sweet potato, cubed

1 can diced tomatoes

4 cups vegetable broth

1 tsp thyme

Salt & pepper to taste

Optional: handful of kale or spinach

Instructions:

Heat olive oil in a pot, sauté onion & garlic until fragrant.

Add carrots, celery, and sweet potato; cook 5 mins.

Stir in tomatoes, broth, and thyme; simmer 20 mins until veggies are tender.

Add greens in the last 5 mins. Season to taste.

Warm, nourishing, and perfect for stormy days! 🌨️💛
