A Family Chiropractic Center will be closed Wednesday for our late afternoon and evening appointments, October 15th, due to a death in the family. We are sorry for any inconvenience, and will be open for our regular scheduled times on Thursday.

Our phones are still out, and according to the repair people, it will be Tuesday afternoon before they are fixed. Ig you need us today, just drop on by, we’ll get you fixed faster than our phones.

A Family Chiropractic Center will be closed the rest of this week, January 4 - 9. Dr. Glenn has tested positive with Covid. It is a very mild case, and it's just like a cold. We hope to be back open on the 10th, depending on a negative test.

Have you ever had someone make plans to meet you at a certain time? You wait for them, and they never show. Not a call, not a word, just no show,

This is an issue we deal with at A Family Chiropractic. People will call in, make an appointment, and then just not show up, no call, nothing. We have slotted that time specifically for them, meaning we can't give that time to anyone else who calls for an appointment. The doesn't show, that becomes and empty time slot when we could have been helping someone else.

We understand life happens, and things change. Please be considerate and call to let us know if you can not keep your appointment.

Dear member of A Family Chiropractic Center,

In light of the corona virus scare I wanted to assure you we are doing everything in our power to help stop the spread of this virus. We are following the recommendations of the CDC for business safety. Since we are an essential operation designated by the US government we are encouraged to try to do everything we can to serve our patient population safely.
We are open our regular hours as long as we can.

You can call our office from your vehicle when you pull in the lot and we will notify you if the office is void of other clients.
We are trying to adhere to the 6-foot social distancing rules.
We have removed all contact points from our office. No magazines, papers, brochures, coffee, candy and the credit card machine has been moved so only you touch your credit card.

All equipment is being sterilized between each patient encounter so it may take a little longer between patients.
Remember Please do not come in if you have any sign of the virus. Fever, cough, sneezing, weak feeling, trouble breathing, loss of taste or smell. Just be healthy when you get here please!!

We will work together for your good. Whatever it takes we will keep serving you, as long as I stay healthy.

The good news is it has not been as bad as it possibly could have been in Indiana. St Joseph county Indiana has less than .03 percent of the population that has tested positive for the virus. Summer is coming, according to the CDC the virus is killed by the UV rays of the sun that is present longer in the summer and we can get outside away from enclosed environment.

Try to get outside to walk, play, relax in the garden, get those home repair project caught up. Visit with your by phone or facetime. It is kind of nice having more time to think and play due to the restriction.

The governor has extended the stay at home order for two weeks until May 3 at the current assumptions. But this may change depending upon statistics.

Be sure to take the virus seriously. We will do everything possible to help you thrive in this health care crisis. We hope and pray it will be over as sooner than later.

Dear Member of the Chiropractic family,

I wanted to personally let you know that our office is currently open to serve your Chiropractic related needs. The Corona virus COVID-19 is foremost on my mind and we are doing everything in our power to follow the specific guidelines outlined by the CDC, local and national government COVID-19 taskforces.

I want you and your family to feel free to call our office if you are in pain or have a condition I can help your body improve.

You will find we are going as far as we can to limit any exposure to potential virus communication. Every table is cleaned after any contact; hands are washed after every exposure to a person. Counters are cleaned, bathrooms are cleaned often, even door k***s are wiped clean often.

Please do not come in if you have cold like symptoms like coughing, sneezing, fever, headaches or chills. In return we will not be here if any virus type symptoms are present.

We all know this is a temporary bump in the highway of life. This too shall pass and everything will return to normal. We will learn from this experience, things will be different and help us better react to global disasters like this.

I do hope and pray all is well with you and your family and friends. Please heed the warnings you have been given. Wash your hands, keep social distance, use your God given common sense, try to reduce stress as much as possible, stress reduces your body’s immune system. Do these things and you will be health, wealthy and wise.

There is no vaccine or proven medicine to help with this virus. Chiropractic is not a cure or preventative measure for this virus. There are some studies that suggest having your spine in alignment does help your immune system function better but nothing has been studied as far at COVID-19. Just use Chiropractic to help you with the things we have worked for you in the past.

We are here to help you if the need arises. The government does allow you to travel for any medical or chiropractic care. We all hope this pandemic is over sooner than later so we can all return to normal daily living. Until then be careful and know we are being very sensitive to the need you have for safety.
There is no barrier, medical, or financial we can’t work through together. This is what makes America great: Community.
