March is Social Work Month!

This year's theme honors the mission of the Social Work profession: to enhance human well-being, meet the basic human needs of all people, and put special attention on the needs and empowerment of people who are vulnerable, oppressed and living in poverty.

There are more than 810,000 Social Workers in the United States and the profession is projected to grow 7% by 2032 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

At Center for Hospice Care, we are especially grateful for our dedicated social workers who walk alongside patients and families with compassion, expertise, and unwavering support. They help navigate complex decisions, provide emotional guidance, and ensure that every individual’s voice is heard and respected. This month and every month, we thank our social workers for the extraordinary difference they make in the lives of those we serve.
