An Arctic cold front will arrive in the Rio Grande Valley this Saturday. Sunday morning: temperatures near freezing in the Rio Grande Valley and below freezing in the Ranchlands.

Strong north winds with gusts up to 30 mph will produce very cold wind chills.

Monday morning: actual temperatures may reach 32°F or lower, with wind chills in the teens and lower 20s.

Cold Front Preparation Tips:
🧥 Dress warmly: wear multiple layers and limit outdoor exposure, especially at night and early morning.
🏠 Protect your home: cover exposed pipes and allow faucets to drip slowly if freezing temperatures are expected.
🐶 Protect pets and animals: bring them indoors or provide proper shelter and unfrozen water.
🌱 Protect sensitive plants: cover them or move them indoors if possible.
