The transition to motherhood can be the hardest time to figure out how to speak up for yourself.
You are tired. You are in pain. Maybe breastfeeding is a nightmare or your C-section recovery is far from routine.
When we are tired, overwhelmed with a new role, or in pain, it is hard to know what we need. BUT it is up to us to know.
