Acronyms are hard.
Taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be. 💛

Whatever today looks like—rest, a walk, reaching out, or just taking a breath—it counts.

As Social Work Month comes to a close, we’re celebrating the people behind the work.

Every social worker has a story—and a moment that started it all. For our team, these songs take us back to the year they stepped into a career rooted in compassion, connection, and community.

Shout out to Rob MacDougall, Renee Van Meter, Kevin McGuire, Shana Burgess, and Shelby Alvarez for showing off their dance moves 💃

Which song would you be dancing to? Let us know in the comments ⬇️

You don’t have to choose just one feeling.

You can be healing and angry.
Overwhelmed and grateful.
Exhausted and hopeful.

Two things can be true at the same time. That doesn’t make you inconsistent. It makes you human.

Which one resonates with you today?

Supporting students starts earlier than most people think.

Johnson County Mental Health Center partners with local school districts to help students who may be struggling with substance use.

With parent or guardian consent, schools can refer students for alcohol and drug screenings—often the first step in getting connected to support.

Through partnerships with
Blue Valley School District,
Olathe Public Schools, and
De Soto Unified School District #232,

students can access screenings, resources, and referrals to behavioral health and substance use services.

Early support can make a meaningful difference for students and their families.

Spring cleaning isn’t just for your home—it can be for your mind, too. 🌸

Taking a little time to reset, refocus, and let go of what’s not serving you can make a meaningful difference in your mental well-being.

Small steps count. Progress counts. You don’t have to do it all at once.

Which one of these resonates most with you right now?
