💘 Roses are red, violets are true, taking care of your mental health looks good on you. 💘

Whether you’re sending love to a partner, a friend, your case manager, your water bottle, or your own reflection in the mirror, these little reminders are here to say what we sometimes forget to tell ourselves: you matter.

Save one. Send one. Or keep one for yourself. You deserve care, connection, and compassion today and every day.

Tomorrow can bring a lot of pressure. Here are a few reminders to take with you.

You are worthy of love, no matter your relationship status.
You do not need a partner to celebrate love in your life.
Love shows up in many ways beyond gifts.
What people post online is not the full story.
Feeling jealous or left out is human. Be kind to yourself.

You matter today and every day. 💗

Sometimes our brains get stuck in “what if” mode.
This is your gentle reminder that you locked the door, the stove is off, and no one is upset with you.

If your thoughts tend to spiral, you are not alone. Pausing to reality-check worries and grounding yourself in what you know to be true can help ease anxiety in the moment. Small reassurances can make a real difference.

Valentine’s Day can bring up a lot of feelings, especially if dating has been hard or a relationship recently ended. You do not have to rush to reframe or fix how you feel.

This week’s Mental Health Moment invites you to let your feelings be and offers a few grounded ways to move through the day, like journaling, listening to music that matches your mood, moving your body, or creating something.

Yesterday was Community Mental Health Center Advocacy Day in Topeka!

Our team spent the day advocating, connecting, and sharing what community mental health looks like in Kansas. We talked with legislators and staff about how policy decisions directly affect access to care, crisis response, and prevention efforts in our communities.

Ending stigma starts with conversations like these. Mental health matters, and it deserves a seat at the table.

We begin reviewing applications next week on February 20, so this is your moment to hit submit. This paid, part-time residency focuses on art and mental health storytelling, with opportunities to collaborate with the community, create narrative-based work, and have your art shared through public exhibitions and installations.

If you’re an artist who cares about using creativity to reduce stigma and share lived experiences, we would love to hear from you.

✔ Curate what you see
✔ Set boundaries with tech
✔ Be critical of AI & online content
✔ Protect your digital privacy

Small changes online can make a big difference offline.
