A heartfelt thank-you to Chief Jaime Ayala and the entire Edinburg Police Department for recently honoring Tim Brown with a special recognition on behalf of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home.

The award came after Tim stepped in to help a family during a painful moment. It was the kind of moment that reminds you why our work matters.

We didn't do it for thanks. We didn't do it for recognition. We did it because it's what families deserve, and it's what Ric Brown Family Funeral Home has stood for since day one — showing up with care, dignity, and a willingness to carry a little of the weight so a grieving family doesn't have to.
