😔🥺 This is the moment students realized… it could be them.

This week, and community partners hosted the Shattered Dreams program at Mission Collegiate High School, giving students a powerful and emotional look at the real consequences of impaired and distracted driving — just before spring break.

The program featured a staged crash scene in front of the school, followed by live emergency response, legal consequence demonstrations, and awareness presentations showing students how one decision behind the wheel can change lives forever.

Tim Brown of served as the funeral director on scene, tending to the deadly simulated crash. Following the outdoor simulation, students moved into the gymnasium for awareness presentations — including a mock funeral with a staged casket and a survivor who lost their mother to drunk driving, shared her story representing Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) .texas .

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, one person is killed every 39 minutes in a drunk-driving crash in the United States.
