Mission Veterinary Hospital was established in 1988 and we have continued to raise the bar in quality veterinary care. Our up-to-date medical equipment has allowed us to offer the most advanced, least-invasive diagnostic and treatment modalities for our patients. We are a 5 doctor mixed practice, which means we see both large and small animals. We offer in-house blood profiles, digital radiography, ultrasound, telemedicine, and video endoscopy....all which allow our doctors to diagnose and treat our patients in a more effective and timely manner. Dr. Cavazos had an amazing time at Career Day at Wilson Elementary, sharing her passion for veterinary medicine with so many bright, curious young minds! From explaining what it takes to become a veterinarian to answering all their fun (and sometimes very creative!) questions about caring for animals, it was truly a blast. 🐶🐱

Moments like these remind us how important it is to educate and inspire future generations—who knows, we may have met some future veterinarians in the making! 💙

Many common household items that seem harmless to us can be dangerous or even life-threatening for pets. Being aware of these risks can help prevent emergencies and keep your furry family members safe.

• Chocolate
• Xylitol (found in sugar-free gum and candy)
• Grapes & raisins
• Certain plants (like lilies)
• Human medications
• Cleaning products
