Mission Veterinary Hospital was established in 1988 and we have continued to raise the bar in quality veterinary care. Our up-to-date medical equipment has allowed us to offer the most advanced, least-invasive diagnostic and treatment modalities for our patients. We are a 5 doctor mixed practice, which means we see both large and small animals. We offer in-house blood profiles, digital radiography, ultrasound, telemedicine, and video endoscopy....all which allow our doctors to diagnose and treat our patients in a more effective and timely manner. Some of our rave reviews:
"We take all of fur babies here, these guys are the best in town!"-Anonymous

"Mission Veterinary Clinic has been a part of family as far as our dogs are concerned for over 20 years. We have received first class care delivered every time our dogs required attention." -R. "This is the first and only vet hospital where my animals are treated like family.

❄️ Extreme Cold Incoming — Here’s How to Protect Your Pets! ❄️

Our very own Javi is here with an important reminder! With potential freezing temps expected this weekend, it’s crucial to make a plan to keep your pets safe, warm, and healthy.

Here are some top cold-weather tips:

🐾 Bring outdoor pets indoors — If you’re cold, they’re cold. Even breeds with thick coats can develop hypothermia or frostbite.
🐾 Layer up on walks — Use pet sweaters or jackets for short-haired pups and limit time outside.
🐾 Paw protection matters — Ice, salt, and frozen surfaces can burn paw pads. Wipe paws after walks and avoid puddles with antifreeze.
🐾 Warm shelters only — If pets must be outdoors briefly, ensure they have dry bedding, insulation, and protection from wind and moisture.
🐾 Hydrate & monitor — Pets can dehydrate in winter too. Make sure water bowls don’t freeze and watch for shivering, lethargy, or limping.

Extreme weather can catch us off guard — but being prepared makes all the difference.

If you have questions or concerns about your pet during this cold snap, give us a call! We’re here to help keep your pets safe through every season. 🐶🐱❤️

Giving Back, One Toy at a Time 💖

Thanks to the incredible talent and big heart of our very own vet tech Megan, and the amazing support of our clients, Mission Veterinary Hospital was proud to donate $834 to Palm Valley Animal Society in 2025 🐾✨

Every kitty toy and pillow handmade by Megan didn’t just bring joy to cats—it helped support animals in need right here in our community.

Thank you to our clients for supporting this special fundraiser and for always helping us turn compassion into action. Together, we’re making a difference 💕🐱
