Pre-Medicine Student and Pre-Health Ambassador, Hannah Henson, is a Barry Goldwater Scholarship Recipient. It is the most prestigious undergraduate STEM Scholarship in the country.

Hannah is in pursuit of medical school and plans to conduct research on reproductive disorders in women’s health in hopes of improving it.

We are SO proud of her and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her! Please help us congratulate Hannah in the comments!

Congratulations to our PHA Class of 2026-2027!

We had our largest groups of applicants since the inception of the Pre-Health Ambassadors! With that, this was a very difficult decision with so many great applicants!

We are excited for this group and the BIG things coming to the HPRC and PHAs! Let’s get it!

Representatives from UMMC School of Health Related Professions are offering information sessions to students interested in their programs THIS THURSDAY! These sessions are first come, first serve and will be hosted at the HPRC.
UMMC School of Health Related Professions offers undergraduate programs and graduate/doctoral programs.
A few of the additional programs that UMMC School of Health Related Professions offers are Radiologic Sciences, Health Systems Administration, Medical Laboratory Science, Health Informatics and Information Management, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Doctor of Physical Therapy, and Doctor of Occupational Therapy.

We’re thrilled to officially announce that the HPRC has moved to Allen Hall 116! Pardon our progress as we get settled into our new space. We’re excited to start this next chapter and we can’t wait to share it with each of you!
