We’re excited to introduce another one of our Spring 2026 Cryo Method Athlete Ambassadors — Lily Meskers.
Team Captain | Track & Field | University of Montana
100m | 200m | 400m
At the highest levels of track and field, fractions of a second matter.
And the difference often comes down to how well an athlete recovers.
Lily is a school record holder in the 4x400 relay and a leader on her team, competing in multiple sprint events that require explosive power, speed, and total physical readiness.
“Performance depends entirely on physical readiness. What we do on recovery days matters just as much as training.”
After meets, recovery is part of her process:
PEMF therapy to kickstart recovery
Red light therapy to relax and repair
Cryotherapy to reset both physically and mentally
As both a high-level athlete and someone managing an autoimmune disorder, recovery plays a vital role in keeping her healthy, consistent, and able to perform at her best throughout the season.
Her advice to younger athletes:
“Make recovery just as much of a priority as practice. Your off days are essential.”
Elite performance isn’t just about pushing harder.
It’s about recovering smarter.
More Spring Ambassador spotlights coming soon.
