Every day is Veterans Day! We are mindful of and grateful for the sacrifice of our nation’s veterans and their families throughout the years in preserving our freedoms.

October is Medical Ultrasound Awareness — or Sonographer Appreciation Month! ❤️

At Origin Health we are grateful every day for the skilled sonographers in our offices in Missoula, Kalispell, Butte, Helena and Great Falls.

We thank them for their kindness, compassion and extra-mile efforts for those they scan. We thank them for understanding how important each fetal scan is to a mother and family. We thank them for being so attentive to detail. Our sonographers are simply the best!

Guests will enjoy a “cord cutting” ceremony, guided tours of the new facility, and light refreshments. The event offers a chance to meet the care team and explore the birth center.

Located in Building #2 on the campus of Community Medical Center, the Missoula Birth Center offers a serene, home-like environment for low-risk, low-intervention births.

The public is invited to attend the celebration on Wednesday, September 17th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at 2831 Fort Missoula Road, Suite 102.

Guests will enjoy a “cord cutting” ceremony, guided tours of the new facility, and light refreshments. The event offers a chance to meet the care team and explore the thoughtfully designed birth spaces.

Deliveries are attended by the Certified Nurse Midwives of Roots Birth & Women’s Health, RNs, and other skilled professionals.

“We are pleased to welcome birthing families to our center," said Dr. M. Bardett Fausett, founder of Origin Health and the Medical Director of the Missoula Birth Center. "We have a wonderful collaborative care situation where women can safely deliver in a nurturing environment. We support and encourage normal and natural labor and delivery, and we have expertise to guide and assist if the situation becomes more complicated. Our midwife team works with supportive obstetricians and hospital teams who can provide advanced care."

The 2025 UNFORGETTABLE Garden Tour, sponsored by the Missoula Rose Society, is Saturday, September 20th from 10am - 4pm!

This self-tour (you can begin and end at any of the seven amazing gardens) is $15 per person or $25 per family. The selected gardens are in Missoula, Florence, and Stevensville.

Proceeds from the tour will help our efforts to refurbish and restore the Missoula Memorial Rose Garden’s WWII monuments, build raised rose beds, and beautify that hallowed place of remembrance.

Tickets are available at each garden (one ticket allows you to wander through all 7 of them), or by calling Judy Hoar (406) 544-0428.

No dogs, please. No restrooms available at the gardens.

What a beautiful and interesting way to spend a September Saturday — and such a great cause to support!
