Harvest time - check your pots. Check your garden. Freezing temps are coming soon! So trim down those perennials that still have growth to use during winter. Dry thoroughly and store in jars. Tea for the colder months ahead.

Joints need soothing but they sometimes need cleansing and lubricating. Oat straw is a nervine that soothes the nerves of a sore joint and surrounding area carried there by climatis chinensis which focuses on clearing the joint as it lubricates. Though I sell by individual packet that msjes a quart I do recommend a few days of the tea.

Mini herb starter garden pots! Out during sunny hours! Stop by. I’m getting prices on them. A mix of violas for tumor poultices, mugwort nervine, calendula blood nourisher and mover and collagen builder, dianthus for damp heat clearing, hyssop for mucus clearing, leeks for lungs!

Hottest decade
The latest “State of the Global Climate” report has been released and the news is pretty dire: our world has just experienced its hottest decade. According to the World Meteorological Organization, 2024 was the hottest since record-keeping began and was likely the first time global temperatures exceeded 1.5 degrees Celsius above the baseline set in 1850-1900. Atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide were at the highest levels in the last 800,000 years. Such record levels of greenhouse gases — along with the El Niño weather pattern — were mostly to blame for the higher temperatures.
