👀 Over the last few years, you may have noticed a movement of people who are interested in shifting away from big-box and department store shopping, in favor of locally owned shops, and locally produced goods. When you do this, you not only strengthen your local economy, but you are also supporting local families and encouraging business and creativity in your town or city.

🏡 We are a local business that proudly supports many other local businesses by carrying their products or using their services. This means so much to us, because buying local is not only better for the planet, it enriches the lives of so many around us, making us a more resilient community, full of cherished connections and meaningful relationships.

🏗️ Big news for Missoula! The former Missoulian building site is getting a major makeover. Developer and former Griz football player Cole Bergquist just unveiled "Higgins Waterfront" - 80 residences, a 155-key hotel, rooftop bar & restaurant, plus local shops along the Clark Fork River. 🌿 Learn to support your lungs with herbs!

🫁 Are you looking for a little extra king support? Do your illnesses often result in a lingering cough? We have a few things in the shop to help you out.

🫖 Our Lung Support Tea is a combination of mucosal repairing (mullein, marshmallow) & germ killing herbs (thyme), along with lung anti-inflammatory herbs (pleurisy root). We originally formulated this to help with that post-Covid lung dryness, but it’s become a lung support favorite!

🌀 Mighty Lungs Syrup is a nourishing tonic to support easeful breathing, promote healthy nervous system function, and aid in liver detoxification. This is something you can take even when you’re not ill, to help support and tonify the lungs.

💧 We also have some other supports such as herbal steams and our essential pool breathing blend that can help soothe and open up the airways.

🦠 Don’t let the shared germs of family, friends, events and holiday festivities get you down!

🫐 We made these fantastic elderberry syrup kits for your DIY or large family situation: cook the herbs up (following the easy directions) & add honey, agave syrup or your sweetener of choice. The reward for your labors will be a quart or so of delicious syrup which can help shorten your illness, or better yet, prevent said illness from gaining a foothold. Elderberry is considered an “antiviral”, but what it really does is make yourself more resistant to viral take-over. Tasty cinnamon & cardamom help make this syrup go down easy.
Don’t like syrup? Put a tablespoon or two of syrup in a mug and pour some hot water on top for a nice cup of instant elderberry tea!

🍁Happy Indigenous Peoples Day!!!🍁

🥶It was so cold today with lots of wind and a little bit of snow. There was a dedication of local Salish art work downtown and a very breezy powwow in Caras Park! So grateful in all the ways that the Missoula community reaches for and encourages new relations & relationships with all of its peoples.

I thought of all the wonderful things that happened over this spring and summer season and the bounty has been great: garden tending, herb harvesting, festival planning, friends, trips, not enough swimming!

New friendships, learning new skills, learning myself. So.Much.Baseball! So much football!
New plant friends!🌿

🤯Good luck getting your garden put away🤗

First snow & I love this feeling of putting up the bounty, feeling crafty and settling into a season of contemplation, slow cooked meals and hopefully time to read📖

🦠 Often these little nasties can leave us with lingering dry coughs that seem to take ages to resolve. Luckily, as with many things… we have a tea for that!
