🎉 Welcome Polson native Riley Grogan, M.D.!

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Grogan completed his General Surgery Residency at Gundersen Health System, a rural-focused, broad-spectrum residency program based in La Crosse, WI.

🇺🇸 He served as a Medical Corps Officer in the U.S. Army as a Distinguished Military Graduate and proudly continues to serve alongside the soldiers of the Montana Army National Guard to this day.

Dr. Grogan practices general, trauma, and acute care surgical services at Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula. He supports patients beyond the physical aspects of recovery—prioritizing emotional well-being and helping them return to an active, fulfilling life post-recovery.

💙 Making World-Class Healthcare Possible in Western Montana

Every day, we are inspired by the generosity of our community. Thanks to donors, the Providence Montana Health Foundation ensures that patients across western Montana have access to exceptional care.

Recently, nearly 100 community members toured our facilities—seeing inside a helicopter and ambulance, visiting the OR and exploring diagnostic equipment. The impact? A couple was so moved they offered to help fund a new CT scanner the very next day.
