What does a typical day look like for Gregory? Let’s find out… 🤎
Mornings for Gregory always start with his pup, Roofus, and a five-minute snuggle. “Okay, probably more like 15 minutes. Okay, okay… it’s usually 30!”
Next comes fueling up. Gregory is passionate about nourishing meals and supporting local farms. “Stocking my fridge with fruits and veggies from around the valley keeps me connected to the land and the community,” he says, giving a big shout-out to Dixon melons.
Movement is a daily ritual, but for Gregory, it’s about joy, not performance. “I love being the friend you can call for any activity: a trail run, tennis, or even bowling (yes, I own my own ball and shoes),” he laughs.
Evenings often find him gazing at the sky. “Maybe that’s on a tech-free backpacking adventure, maybe it’s just standing on my roof, texting everyone I know to go check out the moon or sunset,” he explains.
At the heart of it all, Gregory loves listening to people’s stories. “Supporting others’ passions and seeing them achieve their wildest dreams is what brings me the most joy,” he says. This applies to everyone in his life - the Ritual community, friends, strangers, or his three amazing nephews.
Gregory believes any moment can be a meditation. “Using awareness, slowing down, and tapping into the breath - even while waiting in line at the Good Food Store or sitting at a red light on Higgins - those ‘micro moments’ add up and shape the energy of my day,” he notes.
When guiding meditation and sound baths, his philosophy is simple: “Find what works for you and do more of that - and be proud of yourself for showing up and ‘doing the work’!” He adds, “My practice and my life are rooted in love, levity, gratitude, and grace. My goal is to pass that on, one person, one breath, one moment at a time.”
