One of the best ways for our radiologists to interpret any abnormalities on your scans is to have prior scans to compare them to. Whether it’s previous mammograms or MRIs from an old knee injury, having your prior scan records is an important way to confirm what — if any — changes have occurred. Not having your priors for comparison may delay the reading of your new scan because we’ll need to request them after your visit. One thing you can do to keep things moving smoothly is to proactively ask for your radiology records from any previous providers or imaging centers before your scan at Advanced Imaging.
