As we all know the rate of COVID19 infection in Missoula is currently high.
During the pandemic Mountain Sage Acupuncture has strived to provide a space where our high risk or immune compromised patients can feel safe receiving care.
Because of this we have always had the following procedures and will continue to do so:

1. Patient and staff screening- no charge for cancelled appointment due to covid symptoms or exposure.
Staff will not come to work with covid symptoms, staff pursues covid testing as available with any symptoms or exposure.
2. Air filtration: there are HEPA and UV filtration units in each treatment room and the waiting room. Each treatment room gets to air out for 30-90 minutes before the next patient enters.
3. Masking: universal masking of all patients and staff.
4. Cleaning: all high use surfaces are wiped with 70% alcohol between patients.

Re-opening my private practice during a pandemic felt like a lot at first, but if this year has taught me anything it’s how to be adaptable in the face of change and uncertainty. I am so thankful for the push it gave me. Mountain Sage Acupuncture has only been open again for two months of 2020 and every day I am just so happy to go to work; even if work looks a little different this year with PPE and COVID procedures. I am grateful and happy to be able to provide a safe and relaxing escape for my patients, and I hope that they leave with their cups filled, their health supported and better able to meet the challenges we face this year. Mountain Sage Acupuncture will be closed Thursday and Friday 11/26 and 11/27 to be cozy and thankful. I am so grateful for my amazing patients that have made the first month in the new clinic feel like coming home. Wishing you all health, happiness and peace.
