Can you give us a minute of your time? I am in the process of putting together the class offerings for 2026. Is there anything you would like to see us do that we haven't or anything you would like to see us bring back? Thanks for your help!

Let’s walk this path together.

Start with 4 sessions (intake + a 3-pack) to begin your journey.

In these sessions, you’ll:
• Learn how yoga therapy can help with chronic pain
• Practice simple, effective ways to turn down the volume on pain—or even eliminate it
• Build skills you can use daily to support your well-being

Relief isn’t always overnight, but many notice meaningful changes within a short time.

After these initial sessions, you can choose to:
• Join our online class, now in its 5th year
• Continue private sessions at a pace that works best for you
• Join a general public class and apply your new knowledge
• Combine both private sessions and group classes for a comprehensive approach

This response my teacher Gary Kraftsow’s teacher TKV Desikachar🙏🏼:

Question:
In this field do you see the most important contribution from Yoga being on a preventive or a curative level in the coming century?

Desikachar:
I think the most important contribution Yoga can make in the field of health is the courage it can give to face illness, the strength we can find to cope with our ailments.
The moment we have this strength, we have already been cured in a way.

That, I think, is a very significant contribution. This is at least what we see with the many different people who come to our Yoga institution in India.
Some of them have not received education, others are very cultivated,
but whoever they are, when faced with illness, they generally feel discouraged.

After some time they have the courage to smile again, to take a walk, to climb some steps – which can be a big improvement… This happens because Yoga identifies a power within them, a power which they didn’t think they had.
It is not medicine, but it works.

On this National Grief Awareness Day, let’s honor grief in all its shades and flavors. Let’s connect with our awkwardness, our grace, and our compassion. 🌿

Grief comes in many flavors—sadness, numbness, anger, even relief. Sometimes a new loss stirs old ones, layering together as cumulative grief.
There are so many types of grief- the slide only lists a few. Take this as an opportunity to acknowledge the grief you experience without the value of great or small. It is true and valid regardless of some arbitrary value.
Yoga has supported me and allowed me to support others to meet grief by offering:
✨ Safe connection — being with self and others
✨ Co-regulation — grounding together through breath and presence
✨ Choice & titration — feeling grief in small, manageable ways, with space to linger and be

Over time, I’ve learned so much about grief and how we heal through Tamarack Grief Resource Center here in Missoula. They offer a truly compassionate, research-informed approach—counseling, grief camps and retreats, support groups, school programs, workshops, and more—supporting individuals, families, and communities as we navigate the many layers of loss.
