Friends, family, loved ones in the community…we have a family who would DEEPLY appreciate your support 🙏🏻

To protect their safety I won’t use names, photos, or too many details but we have a mama, her partner and two gorgeous kiddos up from Billings under Dr.Fausett’s wonderful care. Baby will likely come early due to IUGR and will need extended NICU support. Mama has hyperemesis gravidarum, insulin dependent gestational diabetes and polyhydramnios. Needless to say, it’s been a rough journey. She is finishing nursing school and her partner is unable to work being away from home.

What we would love to provide for the family:
- Doula Support, classes, prep
- Chiropractic care as she broke her back in several place during her last delivery. Being adjusted and aligned would greatly improve this labor ❤️
- Acupuncture, for alignment and stress relief. Polyhydramnios (excess amniotic fluid) increases the chance of a breech presentation.
- Birth Photography
- They really need diapers. As they don’t know how big sweet little girl will be (likely premie size) a gift card to Walmart or Target would be wonderful?
- Snacks, games, entertainment (sensory play) for the kiddos. Mom has a lot on her plate!

It’s one of those stories, that makes you hold your breath. It makes you wonder how the world can be so hard, and feel so terrible.

But that’s just the surface. At its depth it’s a story of empowerment, of finding your strength, rising above and connecting with people. It’s a story of beauty and grace, resiliency and growth.

We have a beautiful mama and her two young kiddos who have just escaped an abusive relationship. Middle of the night sheltered away by her friends, her newfound soul sisters. She is pregnant with her third babe and due any day now.

For obvious reasons they need to remain anonymous, but they need a place to live, if you have or know of a beautiful space please contact us. She needs support - all of the support. If you would like to make a monetary donation our Venmo is 💜

Hello everyone! THANK YOU to all who have donated and/or shared the link to support and love Breanne! Here is a little update from her Dad not long ago...

"Breanne saw the Neuro ophthalmologist yesterday. They did all kinds of tests as you well know. The doctor was very nice. Her vision with her glasses is 20/25. She's got damage to a nerve (4th Cranial/Trochlear) to the right eye which sends weak signals to the muscle. That is why she struggles to read or work on the computer with her eyes down because the right eye doesn't come down as far. So raise the computer, raise the books, take breaks. The problem is processing everything she sees. It just takes longer because of the stroke damage. If she gets too much stimuli like shopping. We went to Costco yesterday Albertson's the day before and it just wears her brain out.
Tincture of time. He said 3 to 6 months more. So her sight is not the problem it's the brain processing everything she sees which we all take for granted and it just takes her brain longer right now. Actually good news for the eyes!"

Just a quick update, Breanne is home in her apartment, seems to be navigating quite well, and found out that all therapy will be in home. That’s a good thing! She sees her daughter periodically, and has a good giggling session when she’s around. She still has a long road ahead of her, but we are hopeful that it will be a good outcome. HELP NEEDED

Hello everyone, I'm reaching out for a beautiful mama who could really use some help! The sweetest of souls who's just been having a rough time, and despite all that still remains so hopeful and positive.

A bit about her story -

It starts before the plane ride, but that is where things took a dramatic turn. While flying back to Missoula, after leaving a bad relationship and visiting her Father to say her last goodbyes, she began to hemorrhage due to a placenta abruption (separating from the wall of the uterus) on the plane. Miraculously there was a very qualified doctor on the plane who helped her lay down while managing a very scary situation. Something you see in the movies, but never imagine happening to you! As soon as they landed she was rushed to the emergency room for a very urgent c-section, barely escaping with both of their lives, loosing 8lbs of blood from her placenta alone.

Baby Luke Ryan was born November 6th at 31 weeks and has been in NICU since. He's currently stable, but mama is holding her breath and asking for prayers as it can be such a precarious situation. She is a now single parent, needing to take time off work to be with her sparkly-eyed, beautiful son. While she has graciously been at the Ronald McDonald house she is still paying for and moving into an apartment in Polson, Montana.

You can imagine all the help she needs! Postpartum Doula support, groceries, gas vouchers to get to and from Polson, baby clothes and supplies, anything helps! Please reach out to me directly at mothermoonproject@gmail.com or direct message me here.

✨Update✨

We had to pause with going forward and making MotherMoon NZ an official Charitable Trust due to the government being what it is, but it’s still on the table for a future project. However, if you or someone you know needs help, please still reach out as fundraising efforts are still available backed by an amazing group of women!

As of now I’m slowly working towards bringing this passion project to Missoula, Montana as a Non-Profit so watch this space 🙌🏻✨💞🔥

What did I do to support our mama today?
I say our mother, and she is, taken in by this beautiful community 💞🌸

As a Postpartum Doula...

I checked in, held space as she talked through what was on her mind. I helped with questions around baby; what do I think about the nappy rash, why is baby so unsettled at night? I listened more, without judgement, then got baby to sleep while mom had a shower.

While she rested I cleaned the kitchen, did the dishes, prepared dinner so all they have to do is cook it when the family is ready. I folded and put away laundry and tidied the lounge.

Energetically I cleared the space, invited calm, white light and universal support, welcomed the new mother and baby to this new journey.

I mothered the mother
I gently observed how they were doing
Took care of the needs to nurture the whole

And then I went on a beautiful hike up Papamoa hills to recharge myself before picking up my boys, because self care is a necessity! ❤️🏞✨
