Dr. Cedrina Ruffin, PhD, is Licensed Masters Social Worker. She was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, but currently resides in Houston ,TX. Dr. Ruffin received a BA in Social Work from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, a MSW from Southern University at New Orleans, and a PhD in Social Work Administration from Walden University. Her dissertation was titled “School Social Workers’ Roles Involving Teacher-Student Sexual Misconduct and Exploitation”. She will utilize her doctoral degree to conduct further research related to teacher-student sexual misconduct in effected school districts, to contribute to the education of social work practice, and to promote social change in many communities. Dr. Ruffin is currently exploring postdoctoral fellowships and faculty positions in the Houston Metropolitan area. 💞💚
