Greetings, everyone!
We are thrilled to announce that Greater Heights Pediatric Therapy is launching an exciting new program called "Food Adventurers" – a playgroup specially designed for "picky eaters." Our primary focus is to create a safe and enjoyable environment where children can explore food using all their senses, ultimately fostering more adventurous eating habits.

The playgroup will be led by Michelle Mayorga, an Occupational Therapist. It’s on Mondays 11:00-12:00noon for 4 weeks at El Nido Family. Dates are yet to be determined, but we will update you soon. In recent years, more and more Autistic adults have spoken up to provide us a first person perspective about Autism and making us more aware about how they want to be supported.

Occupational Therapy plays a vital role in helping them gain life skills and explore different strategies to navigate the world around them.

Down syndrome (or Trisomy 21) is a naturally occurring chromosomal arrangement that has always been a part of the human condition, being universally present across racial, gender or socioeconomic lines in approximately 1 in 800 live births, although there is considerable variation worldwide. Down syndrome usually causes varying degrees of intellectual and physical disability and associated medical issues.
