November is National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month.

Here are some facts:
* 1 out of 10 of people over 65 have Alzheimer’s
*20 is the number of years you could have the disease before symptoms appear
*5.8 Million is the number of Americans who live with Alzheimer’s
*6th leading cause of death in the U.S.
*2/3 is the number of Alzheimer’s patients who are women

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Did you know 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with a breast cancer in their lifetime? Remember to do your monthly self-checks. Let’s come together and wear pink on Wednesdays to raise awareness for breast cancer this month!

Generations Hospice Care had a booth at the Page County Resource Fair at the Clarinda Lied Center! This event had about 20 vendors including insurance, home health, Connections Area Agency on Aging, SHIIP and other facilities as well including our friends at Azria Health!
