As the guys finish loading the completed monuments onto our delivery truck, it's time for us to head to the cemetery and carefully place them for our clients. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the dignity and respect that these monuments symbolize, ensuring they stand as lasting tributes for those they honor.

Newly engraved monument scenes were placed in the yard display after the guys completed the work in our shop.

#10 Placement of the Muilenburg monument at the cemetery. The memorial was done with South Dakota Mahogany granite that is from Milbank SD. The farm scene was what Teresa chose to tell their story on the headstone she and Dan share.

Shafer Memorials has been a family business in the same location Since 1919, we are now proudly in our 6th generation.

We feel it is important to remain doing the engraving of our memorials ourselves. In our shop we not only engrave the name, dates, and artwork—but we do the hand carving you see in the flower petals and leaves.
