🌿 Welcome, Veronnica Smith — Firesteel’s New Administrator! 🌿

We are thrilled to welcome Veronnica Smith as the new Administrator at Firesteel! A longtime Mitchell resident, Veronnica brings decades of experience in long-term care and senior living, with leadership roles at Avera Brady, Golden Living, Good Samaritan, and Countryside Living. She has also served as a long-term care consultant and preceptor, supporting teams and strengthening care across the region.

After spending the past two years with Horizon Health’s Rural Health Clinics, Veronnica is excited to return to LTC—and we are grateful to have her leadership and passion guiding Firesteel.

Outside of work, Veronnica enjoys cheering on the NY Mets, reading, sewing, collecting positive quotes and hippos, and traveling to see her four grown children. She is married to Judge Patrick Smith.
