Our Pump It for Parkinson's event was a huge success! 🏅

The stats are in with 328,470 steps recorded by 20 residents and 29 associates. 👟 Way to go, guys! Mitchell Manor is a member of Community Partners in Parkinson's Care, a Parkinson's Foundation membership program. 💙

Did you know that about 1.1 million people in the United States are living with Parkinson's disease (PD)? 🌷

🧠 This progressive brain disorder is perhaps most well known for causing tremors, but other symptoms include loss of vocal volume, sleep disruptions, stiffness, and balance issues, among others.

Thankfully, there are ways to improve Parkinson's symptoms! 😀 Our therapy team offers rehabilitation services to help improve mobility, range of motion, function, and speech for those living with PD. Call us to see how we can support you or your loved one.
