The US Department of Health has thankfully banned chemical and surgical mutilation procedures for children! If your childs doctor supports these, take your child and run as fast as you can and never go back. This will go down as one of the worst medical recommendations in human history.

Some people in the medical field remain completely ignorant. No wonder vaccination numbers are down when families were lied to and forced to vaccinate during COVID. It's normal to question vaccines and other medical recommendations when people have been lied to so much. The risk of a child dying of COVID is far less than 1%. For older adults and the pneumonia vaccine, you have to vaccinate one thousand people to prevent one case of invasive pneumonia. This number is better for people with high risk conditions however. One over-shadowed failure in all of this is lack of informed consent.

I completely agree with the recent CDC ACIP recommendations regarding the Hepatitis B vaccination for newborn babies. See the attached picture. There are ZERO rational arguments against this recommendation change. Individual based shared decision making is the best policy. Unfortunately, politics and money have gotten in the way of common sense. Back when I was a doctor who was doing what I was told and checking boxes, I vaccinated my children on day one of life for Hepatitis B without any critical thinking. I wish I wouldn't have. Women are screened for Hepatitis B during pregnancy. If the screening is normal, there is absolutely no need for a Hepatitis B vaccination for newborn babies born into loving families. Hepatitis B is a virus spread through sexual activity and blood. I'm not anti-vax, but I am for common sense.

Unfortunately, many large hospital systems plan to ignore this CDC ACIP recommendation and follow their own policies. It's funny that during covid it wasn't that way!

I have seen a lot of medical providers post their support of Tylenol and their respective specialty associations support, ACOG for instance. I'm not sure if it's safe or not but I won't be regurgitating info just because of these supportive statements.

In medical school, I specifically remember this from my pharmacology class. We don't know how Tylenol (acetaminophen) actually works! The mechanism of action = although not fully elucidated, the analgesic effects are believed to be due to activation of descending serotonergic inhibitory pathways in the CNS. Anti-fever effects are produced from inhibition of the hypothalamic heat regulating center. Pretty non-descriptive.

It appears ACOG sent the message below in 2013 on Twitter. Also see this article.

Remember when doctors told you masks worked, the vaccine stayed in your arm, natural immunity doesn't work, stand 6 ft apart, the vaccine wasn't contaminated with DNA fragments, and if you're vaccinated you won't get sick or spread the virus? I do!

Science, including healthcare, is meant to always challenge the status quo! Those who tell you to just follow orders or label you for disagreeing are either ignorant, misleading, afraid that research will change the narrative or all of the above. Science is not static! We should continue to reevaluate and ask questions.
