April 22nd
Valley View residents and staff take part in celebrating Mother Earth on Earth Day.
Earth Day is recognized every year to raise awareness of environmental issues and inspire an appreciation for the environment.
People of all ages can participate in Earth Day. We can plant trees, garden, clean up our community and reduce waste in our own homes.
Did you know Earth is the only known life supporting planet. Earth is the only place in the universe known to hold liquid water on its surface and support life with the "just right" temperature.

🌷“Springtacular” Cake Decorating Contest!🎂
Valley View’s Fun Committee hosted a cake decorating contest for staff. Residents, staff and visitors were asked to place a vote for their choice of “Most Springtacular” cake. It was a close race with all entries being very “Springy”. Dawn Dyer took home the First Place ribbon and prize with her “Gone Fishing” Buttercream cake.🎣
The cakes were served out for all to enjoy. With such an array of flavors, many friends had to enjoy a couple pieces. Thank you to all the entries. It was a fun way to celebrate Spring.🍰

🖍 We had some special guests today! Tiny Treasures Daycare stopped in for a visit. They entertained us with songs and dance, visited with us and made and gifted us with creative artwork. We definitely look forward to their next energetic visit.😃
