Our very own Karen Walker, OT, Director of Therapy Services at USA University Hospital, brought some Encore spirit all the way to The Colosseum in Rome, Italy!

Always representing, Karen kept her Encore bottle close by as she explored one of the world’s most iconic landmarks — and even had the amazing opportunity to see the new Pope during her trip!

We are excited to announce that Ashley Moon, Speech-Language Pathologist with USA University Hospital Rehab Services, is the first-ever recipient of the BEE Award from our Rehab Department!

The Bee Award—“Being Excellent Everyday”—honors healthcare professionals who consistently deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.

Ashley was nominated by a patient’s family after providing care for the patient over an 11-week period. In their nomination, the family shared how Ashley:
✅ Went above and beyond to help them understand treatment plans and address all concerns.
✅ Maintained a positive, encouraging, and friendly attitude throughout their stay.
✅ Used her education and experience to provide exceptional care and support.
