✨October is Infant Loss Awareness Month. The Skylar Project is a great resource that offers a comforting and hopeful presence during what may be the darkest moments for parents.

✨This organization provides resources and support to families coping with the heartbreaking loss of a child. It serves as a guiding light through the overwhelming and sensitive journey in extended NICU stays.

✨The Skylar Project was created in memory of a precious baby girl who left too soon, inspiring her mother, Toya Blu, to extend her support, bringing a ray of hope where there is often much uncertainty and sorrow.

✨Day 2 of the Alabama Perinatal Quality Collaborative Conference was truly eye-opening. It highlighted the pressing issues surrounding the lack of obstetric care in rural areas of Alabama and the inadequate support for fathers during pregnancy.

✨It's clear that we need to come together and take meaningful action to drive change in the right direction. I'm inspired by the fantastic work being done by The Fatherhood Initiative - a program of MCHD initiative and USA Health Children's & Women's Hospital

✨Another shout out to Csierra Payne, Nurturing Ivy Doula Co. LLC, Courtney Thompson, Kensi Layne Duncan, Stephanie Salter Christensen, and Pastor Kenn Harris at Abba Restoration Church for stepping up and making a difference!

✨It’s a wrap! Day 1 of the Almhtf_ Alabama Perinatal Quality Collaborative Conference has come to a close.

✨I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to learn about ways to enhance breastfeeding support, uplift pregnant moms, and foster connection between ObGyns and Midwives.

✨It was heartwarming to see so many dedicated individuals in the birth community coming together for the wellbeing of families.
