We are so excited for our patients and residents at Lynwood. Our residents will celebrate Mardi Gras with their very own ball, King and Queen, and court! We need help! If you belong to a Mardi Gras organization or have any connections in the Mardi Gras realm. We are hoping to find a group that have the availability to visit our residents or have donations that can elevate their ball/court elections. Our Mardi Gras ball will be Feb. 11th. Please reach out to Melissa Gowan or Isabella Hurbert at the facility!

Meet Claire Fikes, Alabama Young Miss International Girl. Claire is the daughter of our Speach Therapist Christina Fikes. The visit from all of these sweet ladies brought so much joy to our patients and Residents at Lynwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

Meet Kathryn Montgomery our Infection Preventionist here at Lynwood Healthcare and Rehab. We are so happy Kathryn chose our facility to use her expertise in helping to provide the best infection control standards against flu, pneumonia, COVID, SARs, and other communicable diseases. Kathryn comes to us with her 4 years of previous nursing spent at the bedside. In her new role, she will still be able to visit her beloved residents and also increase the level of services available to them. Kathryn also recently completed her studies specific to infection control. She now adds her certification of Infection specialist to her credentials. So in quoting Kathryn, let's wash our hands and prevent the spread because a clean hand is a caring hand.
