Alumni Spotlight 💡

When Shane Pickle came to Wings of Life, he was lost, broken, and addicted. He was desperate for change and that is exactly what happened! A total transformation!

Since leaving Wings in 2016, his life has continued to flourish! He is very involved in local and foreign mission work as well as being a member of a local church where he serves faithfully. Shane owns a very successful business, Pickle’s Painting, where he has been known to mentor and disciple his employees. His greatest roles however, are that of a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Brandon and Megan came to Wings in
2023 addicted, lost, and broken. They were ready for real change and that’s exactly what happened!

While working their way through all three phases of our recovery program, Megan went to school and became a certified medical assistant. She works full time at a local urgent care. Brandon was part of our work readiness program and now leads our men and works full time for Life Enterprises Property Services.

They both have full time jobs, are members of a local church, have their own home, consistently come back and serve at Wings of Life and the best news of all….

They just got full custody of their children back!!! 🙌🙌🙌

Congratulations to all of our recent graduates! All three of these men were part of our work readiness program.

Mark came to us all the way from Canada and he will be returning there to his job. Cameron and Robert will be staying for the next phase of our program.

When Gabriel came to Wings of Life in 2023, he was a broken young man with no direction. He joined our workforce readiness program and began to believe in himself as a man and an employee. Dreams and aspirations were birthed in his heart and now he is officially a paramedic!
