What does your inner child need?
This is one of the many techniques I use in sessions to promote healing and inner security. It can be an intense emotional experience to acknowledge the child who felt abandoned and unseen.
Sometimes we think we “like” someone because their inconsistency triggers our insecurities.
Second guessing yourself, working really hard for their love, disowning your needs and your boundaries etc.
These are some of the same tactics many of us used in childhood to receive love.
