When we said “state of the art” Saraland Surgery Center, we meant it. Our general surgery colleagues, Dr. Ballard and Dr. Ringold, performed the first DaVinci robot hernia repairs ever done in Alabama in an ambulatory surgery center. Check out the surgeon sitting in the corner of the room not scrubbed! Hey Dr. Ballard, can we can make this thing work for sports hernias?!

Dr. Rowland is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in hand and microvascular surgery, and more than 30 years of experience. He specializes in orthopedic trauma and complex upper extremity care, treating patients with intricate hand injuries and complex fractures. Dr. Rowland has practiced in both academic and high-volume clinical settings and has trained fellow orthopedic surgeons across the country.
