🎉 Big news from Franklin! 🎉

We’re proud to announce that Franklin Primary Health Center has received ACGME accreditation to launch our Family Medicine Residency Program, starting July 2026!

This major milestone makes us one of only two Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education (THCGME) programs in Alabama—and the only one in Southwest Alabama. We’ll now be training the next generation of Family Medicine physicians right here in the communities we serve, expanding access to primary care where it’s needed most.

All Franklin health center locations are closed today, Friday, August 22, 2025, for an employee in-service, except for the Franklin Medical Mall.
Normal business hours will resume on Monday, August 25, 2025.

✅ The Franklin Medical Mall (1303 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Mobile, AL 36603) is open today from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (noon) to serve patients.

Stop by the Franklin Medical Mall on Saturday, August 23 — open 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Or visit the South Baldwin Family Health Center on Saturday morning — open 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
