We celebrated in costume today at Carol and Rob Hackbarth house. A yearly tradition that we hold dear to our hearts! We love celebrating every Halloween (and many other holidays) with Rob and Carol!!

We celebrated today by going all out in our
💕PINK💕!!!

Uncle Joe’s Rolling Zoo came by and we were able to pet and see all of our furry friends!
We also made some spooky ghosts!

A day at the pumpkin patch is the best kind of day! We dressed up in Halloween themed attire and picked out pumpkins! A beautiful day to be outside!

We celebrated with a community meal, everyone dressed from the era you were born and we all brought our baby pictures!!

Every Wednesday FLC meets for worship, to come together as a community to gather and sing and pray.
Once a month for several years has come to lead worship for us. We are soooo grateful for her time, her friendship and her wonderful guitar skills as she brought so much light to our community! Although she won’t be coming anymore to lead worship we will always keep her in our prayers!! We are so thankful for Kristen!

Claude H. Massengale 1948-2025

With heavy hearts, our FLC community along with the Massengale family announce the passing of our dear friend, Claude.
The city of Mobile has lost a local legend. You may know Claude from Saturday Mass at St. Joan of Arc. Or maybe from his frequent visits to Callaghans. Or maybe you crossed him at any and all Mardi Gras parades. However if you have ever driven down Old Shell Rd., then you know him for slowing down traffic on his 10mile trek up the hill to the Country Club where he worked the golf course since his teen years.

Claude could not go anywhere without running into a friend. We all loved him for his grumpy attitude, but truly soft teddy bear heart. To be a friend of Claude’s was learning how to play Gin Rummy. It was hearing the Biggest Fish stories of life on the Gulf. Or how he shot 3 deers with one bullet. Everyone got updates on how big the golf course gator had grown over the years. He seemed to win every golf tourney he ever played. Or how he made sure Mayor Stimpson knew what streets needed fixing in the city.

Claude liked to brag that he was as strong as an ox and as stubborn as a bull. He certainly proved that this week as he fought til the end.

You will be missed, Claude. But the legend will never die. Thank you for great stories and good times. Roll Tide!

The coordinators of our community homes spent the morning at our friends Rob and Carols house having some time away to recharge, and have a little bit of fun! We are grateful for our friends Rob and Carol who are so generous to share their home with us! It was a wonderful day on the water!
