This is Tilly. Tilly is a “Shelter Dog”. Tilly presented with a 2.6 pound mammary mass (B**b) on her right side. It was ulcerated and dragging the ground. On Friday Dr Beth and team removed her giant B**b and spayed her. Today Tilly is feeling like a new dog. It’s just what we do and love. ❤️
Now all Tilly needs is a wonderful home!

Why is Blood Work Important for Your Pet’s Health?

When it comes to the wellness of your pets, blood work is one of the best tools that can give you and your veterinary team a glimpse into their health. Routine blood work helps monitor their health and detect early signs of illness, even before symptoms appear.

Your veterinarian is the expert in your pet’s blood work results but having a basic understanding of why blood work is important and what your pet's baseline results look like can help you feel empowered in their healthcare.

It’s natural to think of blood tests as being necessary only when something seems wrong, but routine blood work for your pet is an important part of keeping them healthy. With several years of routine blood work results to compare, your veterinarian can more easily spot small changes early, before they turn into more obvious or serious issues.
