We all know exercise is good for us - but a new study finds even 10 minutes a day can make a difference. Dr. Jason Determann made the rounds with Fox Ten's Lenise Ligon to talk about boosting heart and joint health when we get moving just 75 minutes a week.
Dr. Jason Determann, a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with Infirmary Health’s Gulf Orthopaedics, sat down with FOX10′s Lenise Ligon to discuss the impact of physical activity on your overall health.

March Madness is just that, depending on what colors you wore this weekend! Auburn heads home but Bama is off to the Sweet 16. If you're hitting the court at the rec center or shooting driveway hoops, make sure you're wearing the right shoes or even a brace to avoid a sprain. 🏀

For more than 40 years, Bayside Orthopaedic has provided Baldwin County's most comprehensive leading-edge care in orthopaedics and sports medicine.
Our fellowship-trained and board-certified surgeons specialize in joint replacement and reconstruction, spine and fracture care, low or high impact sports injuries, and minimally invasive and robotic surgery solutions. Our Bone Health Clinic's Fracture Liaison Service is unique to the area with a focus on breaking the fragility cycle. And with a best-in-class physical therapy program in-house, we're committed to seamless treatment and recovery.
Dr Paul Fellers and Dr Robert Eubanks opened the practice in 1977 - two of Baldwin County's most groundbreaking physicians instrumental in launching the surgery unit at Thomas Hospital. Physical Therapist Michael Zoghby joined two years later to lead a program that today has become the most comprehensive on-site rehabilitation complex in Baldwin County.
From that first Fairhope office, Bayside Orthopaedic grew along with southern Baldwin County to a second location in Foley. Since 1999, our clinic with South Baldwin Regional Medical Center has expanded to include full -time physical therapy and was the first to introduce the Stryker robotic joint replacement surgery to Baldwin County.
Today, we offer another satellite location in Brewton.
Our physicians, nursing team and physical therapists are active in all the communities we serve - supporting recreational sports programs, serving as team physicians for high school athletics, working with churches and in other projects that enhance our area’s quality of life.
We share an essential mission: wellness of body, mind and spirit in restoring patients to active, healthy lives.
