We truly appreciate your support, your willingness to listen, and your interest in the work being done to help our veterans on the road to recovery. Yesterday we had the honor of welcoming representatives from the Mobile County Sheriff's Office - Warden Pat Michell and Deputy Warden Russell Mitchell - to Vets Recover.

We are sincerely grateful for their time and willingness to visit and learn more about our mission and the work being done here each day. Their presence reflects a shared interest in finding better ways to support our veterans who are currently navigating challenges within the system.

At Vets Recover, we believe meaningful change begins by getting to the root of the problem. When agencies and community organizations come together with a common purpose, it opens the door for hopeful future collaboration focused on intervention, restoration, and long-term success.

This visit was an important first step, and we are encouraged by the opportunity to continue conversations about how we can work together to better serve the men and women who have served our country.

Members of the Vets Recover team had the privilege of attending the Vital Alabama Conference last week.

It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow providers, community partners, and advocates who are committed to strengthening support for Veterans across our state. We gained valuable insight, shared ideas, and brought back resources that will help us continue improving the services and recovery support we provide every day.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the conference possible—and to all who continue showing up for Alabama’s Veterans.

The Yellowhammer Veterans Cup Classic golf tournament consists of three regional tournaments leading to a two-day State Championship.

All proceeds benefit the Veterans Endowment Fund, which exists solely to provide funding for Veterans, First Responders and their Families unable to pay for programs at Vets Recover.

We are honored this past week to welcome Representative Shomari Figures of Alabama's 2nd Congressional District to Vets Recover.

Congressman Figures and members of his team took the time to visit with us, learn more about our mission, and see firsthand the impact of the work being done everyday - not only in our outpatient clinic, but also in our inpatient residential program and throughout our community programs.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the for taking the time to visit Vets Recover recently. It was a pleasure to host the Council and show them the important work we are doing to change and impact the lives of veterans, first responders, and their families right here in the heart of Mobile.

Vets Recover is making a real difference in our community, and it was an honor to have the City Council come see our programs and services in action. Their visit demonstrates a commitment to supporting the critical needs of those who have sacrificed so much for our country and community.

We were honored to host Bradford Health Territory Manager Katie Gramling at Vets Recover this past week. Katie took the time to learn more about our organization and how we can work together to support the mental health and well-being of our military members and veterans.

We were honored to host US Senate Hopeful Austin Sidwell for Congress at our Vets Recover facility this past week. As an Air Force veteran himself, Mr. Sidwell took the time to learn more about the important work we do here supporting veterans in their recovery and reintegration.
