We are very please to welcome Dr. Jones.
Dr. Brian Jones studied chemical engineering at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI as member of the Honors College, and he received his medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, WV. He completed his residency in general surgery at University Hospital at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL and was a clinical fellow in vascular surgery at the University of South Carolina – Greenville. He was selected Resident Teacher of the Year by the Department of Surgery at University of South Alabama and twice selected Resident of the Year by the University of South Alabama College of Medicine during his training. He is a member of the American College for Surgeons, Society for Vascular Surgery, Southern Association for Vascular Surgery, Vascular and Endovascular Surgical Society, Society for Vascular Ultrasound, and Southeastern Surgical Congress. He has academic appointments as Assistant Professor in the Departments of Surgery and Internal Medicine at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and is the current Medical Director of Peripheral Ultrasonography at University Hospital.
